Connoisseurs Choice Ledaig 12yo 2008 Hermitage Finish

The Connoisseurs Choice Ledaig 12 years old 2008 Hermitage Finish is a peated Isle of Mull single malt from the Tobermory distillery bottled in the Wood Finished Connoisseurs Choice series by the independent bottler Gordon & Macphail. This Ledaig was distilled in 2008 and initially matured in refill sherry hogsheads followed by a 3 year finish in Hermitage wine casks. It was bottled on the 8^th of October 2020 at 45% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited small batch release of 4440 bottles.

Nose: sweet smoke with summer berries and lemon zest

Palate: smooth and creamy with black pepper, raspberry and apple

Finish: sweet and smoky
