Xtra Old Particular Tomatin 25yo 1993 (60,2%)

The Xtra Old Particular 25 years old 1993 is an older Highlands single malt bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Tomatin was distilled in April 1993 and matured in refill hogshead DL12783. It was bottled in August 2018 at natural cask strength of 60,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 315 bottles.

Nose: fruit, spiced citrus, polished wooden floors and sweet vanilla with caramel

Palate: lemon merengue with cream, malted barley, burnt sugar and coconut

Finish: long and buttery with allspice, toasted oak and honeycomb on toast
