Xtra Old Particular Macduff 30yo 1990 (48,7%)

The Xtra Old Particular Macduff 30 years old 1990 is an older Highlands single malt from the Macduff distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Macduff was distilled in February 1990 and matured in sherry butt DL 13918. It was bottled in April 2020 at natural cask strength of 48,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 146 bottles.

Nose: spiced with nutmeg, toffee and brown sugar

Palate: ripe juicy plums, treacle with allspice and sweet malt

Finish: lingers long with mocha, raspberry conserve and cinnamon
