Some of the casks even contained up to 35 year old whisky's.
Nose: strong espresso aromas with notes of fresh mint, chocolate cake with cocoa, notes of dark pudding with raisins combined with rich sherry notes and candied oranges, warming spices, butterscotch, dates and chocolate fruit
Palate: rich and sweet aromas melt together with an explosion of spices and bitter moccha with notes of apricots and orange zest. After adding some water more notes of cinnamon, coffee beans, walnut oil and biscuits appear
Finish: long with aromas of mint and lime and some bittersweet aromas of sherry and chocolate
