Glenmorangie 12yo Sherry Cask Finish The Lasanta

The Glenmorangie 12 years old Sherry Cask Finish The Lasanta is a sherry finished Highlands single malt from the Glenmorangie distillery. This 12 year old release matured in bourbon casks for 10 years followed by a 2 year finish in Oloroso and PX sherry casks. Lasanta is Gaelic for warmth/passion and refers to the warm and rich influence of the sherry finish. This Glenmorangie was bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: warm spices with chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee

Palate: sweet sherry influences with sultanas, a hint of orange, walnuts and butterscotch with warm spice influences

Finish: long with aromas of spiced oranges and chocolate covered hazelnuts
