The Glengoyne The Legacy Series Chapter Two is the second release in the Legacy series from Glengoyne. A series of yearly limited edition releases related to the fascinating history of the Glengoyne distillery. With Legacy Chapter 2, Glengoyne honours Peter Russel: the man who has shielded the distillery from the changing winds of fashion, and helped them stick resolutely to 'The Glengoyne Way'. In 1869, Cochrane Cartwright made innovations that define Glengoyne to this day. 134 years later the next chapter in the Glengoyne story unfolded when Peter Russell and his family became the custodians of Glengoyne and fulfilled their dream of having their very own distillery. Chapter Two in the Legacy Series marries spirits matured in two distinct cask types – first fill bourbon and refill sherry barrels. Every drop embodies Peter’s combination of forward-thinking and respect for tradition.
