Glen Garioch Virgin Oak

The Glen Garioch Virgin Oak is the first Glen Garioch malt which has matured in charred new American oak casks. A Highland single malt with a complex character and powerful notes of vanilla and oak. A limited release of which only 150 bottles are available for the Dutch market. Almost cask strength with 48% ABV.

Nose: an explosion of chocolate, oranges and spices

Palate: the characteristic butter notes of Glen Garioch with aromas of treacle, chocolate cake, oak, vanilla and ginger marmalade

Finish: long and warm with notes of malt sugar and spices
