Dalmore Vintage Port Collection 1996

The Dalmore Vintage Port Collection is a series of 3 Dalmore vintages (1996, 1998 and 2001). A creation by Dalmore Master Distiller Richard Paterson who is celebrating his 50^th anniversary in the whisky business. His anniversary release is not the much expected 50 years old but instead a series of 3 vintages finished in Graham’s Tawny port pipes.

This is the Vintage Port Collection 1996, 20 years old and bottled at 45% ABV.

Nose: Blackcurrants, rich coffee beans and praline chocolate

Palate: Gingerbread, Damson plums and passion fruit

Finish: Caramelised pineapple, Sanguinello blood oranges and marzipan
