Blackadder Raw Cask Red Snake Redneck 87 (59,5%)

The Blackadder Raw Cask Red Snake Redneck 87 is a Blackadder single malt whisky made from the same spirit as the Black Snake bottlings but then matured in first-fill bourbon casks. This Raw Cask comes from hogshead Redneck 87 with a peat level of 50 PPM. It was bottled in June 2020 at natural cask strength of 59,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 271 bottles.

Nose: powerful and rich with intense peat smoke aromas, bitumen and asphalt followed by red fruit

Palate: warming and tongue coating with bonfire aromas, pine needles, smoked meat and peat

Finish: long and warming with sweet spices
