Ardmore 21yo 1996 Adelphi Selection (61%)

The Ardmore 21 years old 1996 Adelphi Selection is peated Highlands single malt from Ardmore distillery bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. It was distilled in 1996 and matured in refill hogshead 149026. It was bottled in 2017 at natural cask strength of 61% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 236 bottles.

Nose: light spicy with parsley, fresh hay, grains, charcoaled wood and ash

Palate: lightly sweetened and saltened with smoke

Finish: a soft texture with less salt but coconut aromas and some vinegar instead
