Aerstone 10yo Land Cask

The Aerstone 10 years old Land Cask is a single malt from an undisclosed distillery bottled by William Grant & Sons. Malt Master Brian Kinsman has crafted two single malts for the Aerstone label. A ‘smooth and easy drinking malt’ called the Sea Cask and a ‘rich and smoky malt’ called the Land Cask. This Land Cask was partially made with Highlands peated malt. It’s 10 years old and was bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: rich and powerful peat with layers of peat smoke and spicy citrus aromas

Palate: an rush of peat and wood smoke followed by a soft sweetness, hints of spices and ripe fruit covered by smoke

Finish: lingering smokiness
