The Epicurean is a Lowlands blended malt and a good marriage between the East and West of Scotland offering the best of the Lowlands region. It’s the fifth and final release in the Regional Malts series of the independent bottler Douglas Laing and was bottled at 46,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a 5cl miniature bottle.
Nose: barley, sugar, floral notes and spices
Palate: sweetly coated by sugar, burned citrus, spices, thyme, peaches and hard candy
Finish: rich with more spicy notes, almonds, grass and burned sugar
