Scallywag Blended Speyside Whisky (no tin)

Scallywag Blended Speyside Whisky or Sweet Wee Scallywag is a Speyside blended malt by independent bottler Douglas Laing. A whisky named after a Fox Terrier and made from single malts of amongst others Mortlach, Inchgower, Dailuaine and Glenrothes. A small batch release matured in Spanish ex-sherry casks resulting in a little sweetness with a hint of bourbon. No tin available.

Nose: rich aromas of bourbon, vanilla, sultanas, ginger, a hint of grain and a light emerging sweetness

Palate: dark with notes of nutmeg, cereals, sherry and chocolate as well as a hint of light vanilla and cinnamon

Finish: long with a hint of spices of oak and notes of tobacco, cocoa and fruit
