Big Peat Christmas Edition 2018 (53,9%)

The Big Peat Christmas Edition 2018 is the eighth release in this Chrismas series of cask strength Big Peat bottlings by Douglas Laing. This Islay blended malt from the Remarkable Regional Malts series is made from Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen and was bottled at natural cask strength of 53,9% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: smoky and maritime with seaweed, tar and honey

Palate: warm with aromas of bonfire, wood smoke, seaweed, tar and spicy honey

Finish: warm and long with smoke, a sea breeze and honey
