Adelphi Glenborrodale Batch 7 9yo

The Adelphi Glenborrodale Batch 7 9 years old is a blended malt bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. 9 years old and made from malts of Highland Park, Bunnahabhain, Tamdhu and Glenrothes. 14 years ago this blend was transferred to sherry butts and now it is reinforced with a 9 years old sherry cask release from Glenrothes. This Batch 7 was bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 738 bottles.

Nose: fig bread with dates, chocolate and mint

Palate: warm scones with warm strawberry jam, rhubarb, oak and smoke

Finish: medium long with fruit and a hint of smoke
