The New Zealand Whisky Collection Willowbank Double Wood 16yo (50cl)

The New Zealand Whisky Collection Willowbank Double Wood 16 years old is a blend of 70% single malt and 30% premium grain whisky from unmalted barley distilled by the Willowbank Distillery. It matured in American bourbon barrels for 6 years followed by a 10 year finish in New Zealand French Oak wine casks. It was bottled at 40% ABV in a 50cl bottle, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: complex sweetness with layers of aromas of dried fruit and spices

Palate: rich with natural sweetness, fruit and spices

Finish: warm with lingering toffee aromas
