Millstone Special No. 14 Peated American Oak Moscatel Finish

The Millstone Special No. 14 Peated American Oak is a Dutch single malt whisky from Zuidam Distillers. This Special was distilled on the 31^st of May 2013 and matured in peated American oak casks gevolgd door een finish van 14 maanden in Moscatel sherry vaten.

Nose: Fresh and summery; pleasant notes of green apples, citrus and surprising  flowery notes as in apple blossom and  roses. Underneath all these, a gentle  smokiness from a summer campfire.  The smoke is beautifully rounded and  fully integrated

Palate: Gentle smoke combined with green  apples and orange blossom. This is  followed by some herbal flavors that  end with a hint of grassiness

Finish: Long and fresh citrus and pears ending  in subtle smokiness
