Millstone Special No. 19 Peated Amarone Cask 2016 6cl sample

Millstone Peated Amarone Cask 2016 Special No. 19 is the 19^th special Millstone Dutch single malt whisky from Zuidam Distillers. This peated release was distilled in 2016 and matured for over 3 years in former Amarone red wine casks. This limited edition small batch release was bottled in 2020 at 46%, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a 6cl sample.

Nose: Silky and luxurious with a fresh and fruity character with a delicate smokiness. Over time the peaty notes become a little more pronounced but always balanced with the citrussy notes of fresh lemons and limes.

Palate: Elegant, wonderfully balanced. Obvious peated aroma’s combined with Seville oranges and a trademark spiciness

Finish: Long and luscious with an elegant and pleasant smokiness
