Nikka From The Barrel (51,4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a cask strength Japanese whisky made from malt and grain. The grain comes from Miyagikyo and the malt from the Yoichi distillery. The spirits from both are blended and matured together in first-fill bourbon casks. The result is a no age statement release bottled at 51,4% ABV.

Nose: floral and fruity with notes of orange zest, apricots, spices and a hint of oak

Palate: robust and spicy with oak, ripe caramelized fruit aromas, vanilla, toffee and fruit

Finish: long with notes of ripe fruit, soft oak, vanilla and a hint of smoke
