Kamiki Blended Malt Sakura Wood

The Kamiki Blended Malt Sakura Wood is a blended malt based on Japanese malts as well as malts from around the world. After blending the whisky was finished in Yoshino-Sugi (Japanese Cedar)  followed by a finish in Sakura (Japanese Cherry blossom) casks. This Sakura Wood was bottled at 48% ABV in a 50cl bottle.

Nose: cherry candy with ripe banana, chestnut and cinnamon

Palate: lots of wood influences with sandalwood, gentle spices and mellow cherry blossom aromas

Finish: spicy cherries with savoury aromas leading to a floral and fresh finish
