Rampur Signature Reserve (43,9%)

The Rampur Signature Reserve is an Indian single malt from the Radico Khaitan distillery. The distillery celebrated it’s 75^th anniversary in 2019 and bottled this Signature Reserve as a special release. It matured in 4 American oak barrels followed by a finish in Pedro Ximenez sherry butt 1292. It started at 63% ABV and due to the high angel’s share it was bottled at 43,9% ABV. This is a limited edition of 150 bottles.

Nose: rich PX sherry aromas with creamy vanilla, sweet toffee, spicy cinnamon aromas, dried fruit, honey, nuts, tropical fruit and oak

Palate: rich and creamy with layers of sultanas, toffee, Christmas pudding and burnt cinnamon

Finish: long with aromas of dried fruit, oak and spices
