Writer’s Tears Copper Pot Japanese Mizunara Cask Finish (55%)

The Writer’s Tears Copper Japanese Mizunara Cask Finish is a light and fruity Irish whiskey made from single pot still and single malt whiskey’s. This variant matured for 9 months in Mizunara (Japanese oak) cask 1435. It was bottled at 55% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 630 bottles.

Nose: light fruit aromas with Oriental spices, sandalwood, coconut and Japanes incense

Palate: green fruit with vanilla and cloves

Finish: rich and long
