The Writer’s Tears Cask Strength 2020 is an Irish pot still whiskey from Walsh Whiskey. This 2020 release is a limited edition of 1500 bottles matured in first fill bourbon casks and bottled at 54,5% ABV.

Nose: dried fruit, chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla

Palate: sweet and powerful with charcoal, pepper, dried fruit, cloves, oak and citrus

Finish: creamy and medium long
