Teeling Small Batch Stout Cask Finish

The Teeling Small Batch Stout Cask Finish is the second version of the Small Batch release by Teeling and this time one matured in Stout casks. In March 2016 the Galway Bay Brewery introduced his 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout, matured in Teeling casks. These beer casks are now used by Teeling to finish it’s whiskey on. After a single cask release in May 2016 there now is this Small Batch Collaboration release. Bottled in March 2017 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: cut grass and orange blossom. Allspice, hints of vanilla, apple pie and blackberries

Palate: spiced, rich palate with rose petal jelly and lemon curd. Creamy vanilla, hints of dried herbs and cinnamon

Finish: floral, herbal finish with some cramel on the tail
