The Teeling Brabazon Bottling Series 01 is the first release in the Brabazon series. In 2015 Teeling returned to their roots in the heart of the Liberties neighborhood in Dublin. There, in Newmarket, the Teeling family is not the only famous family. Between the 16th and 19th century the Brabazon family reigned this neighborhood, headed by William Brabazon. Newmarket was an entrepreneurial neighborhood with multiple distilleries, weavings and farms surrounded by traders. The Brabazon Series is a tribute to this period and uses strengthened wines . This first release matured in ex-sherry casks and is a combination of vintages from 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2008. Both PX, Oloroso as well as other sherry varieties are used before the release was bottled at 49,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 12.500 bottles.
