Teeling Brabazon Series 03 14yo PX Finish (49,5%)

The Teeling Brabazon Bottling Series 03 is the third release in the Brabazon series. In 2015 Teeling returned to their roots in the heart of the Liberties neighborhood in Dublin. There, in Newmarket, the Teeling family is not the only famous family. Between the 16th and 19th century the Brabazon family reigned this neighborhood, headed by William Brabazon. Newmarket was an entrepreneurial neighborhood with multiple distilleries, weavings and farms surrounded by traders. The Brabazon Series is a tribute to this period and uses strengthened wines .

This Brabazon is a 14 year old distilled in 2005. Matured in bourbon casks followed by a 2 year finish in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This Teeling was bottled in 2020 at 49,% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: apples, roasted nuts, plums and raisins

Palate: dark chocolate, figs, sultanas and cooked pears

Finish: dried fruit with burnt sugar and a dry finish
