The Teeling 16 years old 2003 Ex-Abafado Casks Finish Single Cask for Bresser & Timmer is a 16 year old Irish single malt whiskey especially bottled for the Dutch importer Bresser & Timmer. This Teeling was distilled in 2003 and matured in ex bourbon casks followed by a 12 months finish in Quinta de Alorna Ex-Abafado casks. Abafado is a sweet and strengthened dessert wine matured in oak casks for 5 years before being bottled at 17,5%. This Teeling Ex-Abafado casks was bottled on the 27^th of April 2020 at natural cask strength of 55,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

“The result is a well balanced whiskey with a rich nose with aromas of apricots, some peach and nuts (almonds and walnuts). The palate is delicate with lots of fruit and clear Abafado influences followed by a sweet and delicate finish.”
