Teeling 15yo 2003 Drouin Calvados Finish Single Cask for Bresser & Timmer (54,4%)

The Teeling 15 years old 2004 Drouin Calvados Finish Single Cask for Bresser & Timmer is an Irish single malt whiskey especially bottled for the Dutch importer Bresser & Timmer. Together with a few colleagues we’ve personally selected this Teeling cask during our warehouse visit. It was distilled in 2003 and matured for 13 years in a bourbon barrel followed by a finish of almost 3 years in Drouin Calvados cask 16681. It was bottled in September 2019 at natural cask strength of 54,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: stewed apples with cinnamon, chocolate covered orange slices and a hint of ginger

Palate: stewed apples and pears with caramel, candy bananas and white pepper

Finish: medium long with pepper, stewed fruit and slightly drying
