The Redbreast 21 years old is an Irish whiskey and the oldest Redbreast bottling. Distilled from a combination of malted and non malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in both first fill bourbon and first fill Oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled at 46% ABV.
Nose: fresh tropical fruit with nuts, dried fruit and soft and sweet spices
Palate: complex, menthol, soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry, spices, cinnamon, cloves, white pepper, malt cookies and fruit
Finish: very long with spicy oak, sweet malted barley and lingering freshness
