Jameson Caskmates (70cl)

The Jameson Caskmates is a modern Irish whiskey finished in stout-seasoned casks. A small batch release and a so called Experimental Edition. This is the 2016 version bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.

Nose: fresh hay with orchard fruit, lemon zest, green tea, hazelnut paste, oak and hop

Palate: sweet and mouth coating with subtle beer and hop influences followed by coffee beans, marzipan, charred oak and caramel

Finish: long and sweet with milk chocolate and butterscotch
