Clonakilty Port Cask Finish

The Clonakilty Port Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey released by the Clonakilty distillery. A release in the Cask Finish Series which matured in bourbon casks followed by a port cask finish. This is batch 25 bottled at 43,6% ABV as a limited release of 1500 bottles.

Nose: fresh with aromas of sweet apples, ripe peaches and vanilla followed by cream and some oak aromas

Palate: very fruity with cherries, raisins, soft spices, chili and cardamom

Finish: medium long with soft spices and a hint of chocolate
