Blackadder A Drop of the Irish Cask Strength (60,4%)

The Blackadder A Drop of the Irish Cask Strength is an Irish single malt whiskey bottled by the independent bottler Blackadder. A cask strength version of the regular and well known ‘A Drop of the Irish’. Matured in cask bourbon cask DI 6/2015 and bottled in May 2015 at natural cask strength of 60,4%, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 286 bottles.

Nose: sweeter with more cream and caramel

Palate: spicy with a pleasant mouthfeeling

Finish: drying with white spices and pepper, a heavy whiskey
