The Lakes Single Malt The Whiskymaker’s Editions Colheita (52%)

The Lakes Single Malt The Whiskymaker’s Editions Colheita is a special release from the English The Lakes Distillery. This single malt matured in a combination of port casks and a few bourbon barrels. It was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 52% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Tasting notes:

The nose is vibrant and fruity with hints of plums, spiced pickled cherries and candied orange; the palate is complex with notes of prunes, stewed plums and warming cinnamon with a lasting finish. Enjoy as you please. Try adding a few drops of water to open up the flavours.
