Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky 2014 Odyssey Barley Batch 4

The Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky 2014 Odyssey Barley Batch 4 is the second ever whisky made entirely in the Cotswolds. It was distilled in 2014 from Odyssey barley from the Bradwell Grove Farm and matured in ex-bourbon casks and reconditioned red wine casks. A true local barley whisky bottled in March 2017 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. Batch 4 is a limited release of 10800 bottles.

Nose: honey and butterscotch layered with light fruits (peaches & apricots), a hint of marzipan

Palate: tannin-rich malt, oils, and dark sugar with lots of spice, caramelized Seville orange marmalade

Finish: Long and resinous, with dark red fruits and a hint of treacle
