The Belgian Owl Single Malt 3yo

The Belgian Owl Single Malt 3 years old is 36 months old Belgian single malt as their makers say. It was distilled in hundred year old pot stills and has matured in first fill bourbon barrels. Awarded with the title 'Best European Single Cask Single Malt Whisky 2011' by Jim Murray in his Whisky Bible.

Nose: rich with gentle fruit, notes of mirabelles, ripe pear and butterscotch

Palate: full-bodied and fresh with notes of vanilla ice cream with lemon, frozen apples, and ginger jam

Finish: pretty long with notes of ripe fruit, pear, apple, banana and plums
