Starward Nova

The Starward Nova is an Australian single malt whisky from the Starward distillery in Melbourne. This Nova matured in Australian red wine casks including ex-Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Cabernet casks. It was bottled at 41% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: red fruit, lots of strawberry aromas and a hint of port and nuts

Palate: honey, cinnamon and red fruit with a creamy and nutty texture with some light tannins

Finish: toffee and walnuts
