Jefferson’s Reserve Very Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon (45,1%)

Jefferson’s Reserve Very Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon is an American bourbon and a stronger/higher proof version of the standard Jefferson’s Reserve. A well-aged and medium bodied bourbon that was previously bottled as 15 years old. This new version has no age statement and is bottled at 45,1% ABV.

Nose: gentle, dried fruit, hay, warm hints of spice, vanilla cream and sweetness

Palate: summery and light, very supple with a pleasant sweetness, hints of cigar leaf, pepper and toffee

Finish: long with good oak integration, a little sweetness and dry spice lingers
