Heaven’s Door Straight Rye Whiskey

The Heaven’s Door range of whiskey have been created by Bob Dylan and Marc Bushala (Angel’s Envy Bourbon). This Straight Rye Whiskey is a Tennessee Straight Rye aged for at least 6 years in American oak barrels followed by a finish in cigar barrels (referring to the shape) from Vosges oak. The bottle features a design from Dylan's own wrought ironwork, and the name is of course a reference to his song 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door'.

Nose: dark rye with aromas of baking spices, aniseed, freshly ground pepper, citrus, leather and molasses

Palate: rich with nutty aromas, chocolate, spices, apple pie, orange zest, mint and salted butter

Finish: the spices disappear while the mint lingers at the back
