Four Roses Single Barrel (50%)

The Four Roses Single Barrel is the single barrel release by Four Roses. An at least 8 years old whiskey matured in American oak casks and bottled at cask strength of 50%. Officially this is a no age statement whisky which has been chosen as ‘No Age Statement Single Barrel Bourbon of the Year’ at the Whisky Bible 2012 awards.

Nose: fruity and spicy with floral notes with some fresh cloves, cacao, candied fruit and maple syrup

Palate: robust with aromas of ripe plums, cherries, spiced vanilla and oak

Finish: very long and gentle
