The Maltman “A Highland” 10yo 2010 (54,8%) 6cl sample

The Maltman A Highland 10 years old 2010 is a Highlands single malt from an undisclosed distillery bottled by the independent bottler The Maltman (Meadowside Blending). This Highlands release was distilled in July 2010 and matured in sherry butt 2090. It was bottled in September 2020 at natural cask strength of 54,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 632 bottles. This is a 6cl sample.

Nose: Werther’s Originals with apple treacle, hot chocolate, orange zest and Caramac

Palate: cloves with icing sugar, marmalade and black coffee

Finish: long and warming with black liquorice and dark chocolate
