Bruichladdich Octomore 11.1 (59,4%

The Bruichladdich Octomore 11.1 is the first Octomore release in the eleventh series. This heavily peated Islay single malt was distilled in 2014 and matured for 5 years in first fill American oak casks. These have been bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 59,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited release of 30.000 bottles.

Nose: sweet aromas of burnt sugar, smoke and peat

Palate: burnt sugar with fruity aromas of peaches and apricots, vanilla, chili and smoke

Finish: long and warm with pepperiness
