Bruichladdich Octomore 10.3 (61,3%)

The Bruichladdich Octomore 10.3 is the third Octomore release in the tenth series. This Islay single malt was distilled from 100% Octomore farm harvested Concerto barley (harvest 2012). It is peated up to 114 PPM and distilled in 2013. This Octomore 10.3 matured for 6 years in first fill American oak casks from Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniel’s. De 10.3 was bottled in 2019 at natural cask strength of 61,3% ABV as a limited release of 24.000 bottles.

Nose: peat smoke and slightly medicinal with lemon candy, thyme, fudge and vanilla

Palate: honey, refreshing citrus aromas, peat, pears and berries

Finish: sweet butter pastry with burnt rubber and spices
