The Tomatin Cu Bocan 2005 Vintage is the youngest Cu Bocan vintage ever and the first made from peated Tomatin malt. Since 2005 Tomatin distills peated malt at the last week of the year. The first of that was used fort his 2005 vintage which matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. It was bottled at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 11400 bottles.
Nose: toffee apples with vanille, heather smoke, chili infused chocolate, lemon syrup and smoked bacon
Palate: sweets with peat smoke, earthy notes, dark chocolate, winter spices and poached fruit with Christmas pudding
Finish: round and rich with sweet smoke and soft fruit notes
