The Provenance Mortlach 8 years old 2006 is a Speyside single malt bottled in the Provenance series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. It was distilled in November 2006 and matured in refill hogshead DL10974. It was bottled in November 2015 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.
Nose: opens with a sweet and fruity quality, pear drops in style, with freshly cut grass and green malt
Palate: fruity overall, developing to sweet spices with a candied orange and barley sugar character
Finish: medium long, still zesty and fresh in a very moreish way
