The Provenance Mortlach 8 years old 2006 is a Speyside single malt bottled in the Provenance series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. A spring distillation from 2006 matured in refill hogshead DMG 10560. Bottled in the autumn of 2014 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.
Nose: perfect balance, very sweet and full of toffee, spices and candied lemon
Palate: more vanilla, burned sugar and warm spices
Finish: rhubarber and custard, sour candy and creamy fudge
