Old Particular Linkwood 12yo 2007 (48,4%)

The Old Particular Linkwood 12 years old 2007 is a Speyside single malt from the Linkwood distillery bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Linkwood was distilled in July 2007 and matured in refill hogshead Dl13763. It was bottled in February 2020 at 48,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 364 bottles.

Nose: lively green fruits (apple and kiwi) give way to buttery pastry with honeycomb

Palate: a sweet spicy style initially then comes juicy barley, oatcakes and strawberry jam

Finish: long with butterscotch, vanilla cream and toasted brioche
