Old Particular Dailuaine 10yo 2008 (48,4%)

The Old Particular Dailuaine 10 years old 2008 is a Speyside single malt from the Dailuaine distillery bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Dailuaine was distilled in July 2008 and matured in sherry butt DL12541. It was bottled in July 2018 at 48,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 751 bottles.

Nose: fresh and full of a sugary, syrupy fruit salad style plus later cereal

Palate: spices to the fore then detect toffee, sherry, more fruits and barley

Finish: nicely balanced between warm spices and fructose and malt
