The Glenlivet Bochel Hill Single Cask Edition is a special Glenlivet release for the Dutch market. A single cask release named after Boch Hill, once an important viewing point for smugglers and illegal distillers including George Smith, founder of The Glenlivet. This single cask release matured in a first fill sherry butt for 11 years. A relatively young whisky bottled at 59,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A single cask release of 670 bottles.
Nose: incredibly fruity with notes of fruit pastry, juicy raisins, cinnamon and oranges
Palate: soft and rich with sweet sherry influences combined with fresh sour aranges, ginger, liquorice and syrup
Finish: long, sweet and subtle spiced
