The Glenlivet Tollafraick 16 years old is a single cask release for the Netherlands and the successor of the Bochel Hill release from 2015. It was named after Tollafraick, one of the many farms the smugglers used to pass on their way to Dunder. Tollafraick was located on the first stage of the journey to get out of the Glenlivet valley and used to be a milestone for the smugglers heading south.
The whisky itself was distilled in 2000 and matured in sherry cask 9944. It was bottled in January 2017 at natural cask strength of 57,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 498 bottles.
