The Old Particular Glenrothes 12 years old 2004 is a younger sherried Speyside single malt from Glenrothes bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Glenrothes was distilled in May 2004 and matured in sherry butt DL 11170. It was bottled in June 2016 at 48,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 490 bottles.
Nose: sweet and richly spiced with salted butterscotch
Palate: mouthcoating and spicy with bee wax, polished wood and some sweetness
Finish: long and lingering with sweet spices, ginger and toffee
